Darrell Lambert of Port Orchard, Washington holds the termination letter he received in the mail on November 6, 2002 from the Chief Seattle Council of the Boy Scouts of America revoking Lambert's registration as an adult scout leader. Lambert's membership has been rejected by the regional scouting executive after Lambert revealed in October that he was an atheist. Lambert, 19, earned scouting's highest rank of Eagle Scout before becoming an assistant scoutmaster.
